Lounge

The wooden unit in the corner of the room required some repair work, then prime, undercoat and satinwood top-coat.

The walls and ceiling had been freshly plastered, so a mist coat was applied, then two coats of colour.

Bedroom

Here, the woodwork was stripped with a heat gun, then treated with Nitro-mors to return it to bare timber.

The walls and ceiling were then plastered, a mist coat applied, then two coats of colour on top of that.

Bathroom

Again, freshly plastered walls and ceiling were treated with a mist coat, then soft sheen emulsion.

Woodwork was prepared, then had two coats of undercoat followed by a coat of Gloss were applied.

Skirting

Here, an old doorway had been blocked up and therefore, the woodwork needed to be ‘bought in’ to match the existing.

This was done by carefully filling any gaps with filler and decorator’s caulk, then applying primer, undercoat and satinwood paint.

Shop front

This job required extra measures as it was a commercial premises.

The area was taped and coned off, and a scaffold tower was used as opposed to ladders.

The woodwork was in need of quite a lot of TLC. It was scraped down and burnt off where required, then rubbed down.

We then applied 2 coats of primer, 2 of undercoat and a final top-coat of gloss.
